Jihun Oh has worked as a post-doctoral research fellow at Children's National Medical Center, Washington DC since January 2013. He received his Ph.D. degree in School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology in Dec. 2012 under the supervision of Prof. Xiaoping Hu. He received his M.S. degree in ECE from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2009 and his B.S. degree in ECE from Hanyang University in Seoul in 2007. His research interests include image registration (e.g., demons), augmented reality, segmentation (e.g., active contours), MR image processing and analysis, GPU-based data parallel processing using OpenCL, pattern recognition, and classification with an emphasis on medical imaging. He is a member of IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society and SPIE Medical Imaging.
